    I don't often go about looking for US items, but I was given this cap from a good friend of mine, and both he and I are clueless as to it origins, being either post war or not. Thank you for your insight

    Looks to be a Korean War era US Army Infantry Officer's dress blue cap. Nice cap.

    Definitely a post-WWII cap. However, the band appears to be scarlet to me, which would be for artillery arm of service. Infantry is light blue.
