It is easy to forget that these fellas were little more than kids, twenty years old, an ‘old man’ at twenty five.
What had you done at twenty years of age?
I think of this every time I work with my young Marines, And some of them I think Damn!!! You could of been a bomber pilot!!!
Makes me worry sometimes , But yeah some where 20 - 21

Not a visor, but a standard AAF visor would go with this-- very rare Blimp Pilot's wings in bullion:

Paul, I have to agree--as a TR visor collector, I have to concede that it is better than any of my bullion hat insignia.
My cross-town friend scored it at the SOS (I was going to buy it if he did not!).

Here is a pic of the metal wings in wear:

    I'll second what Paul said.
When you zoom in on that balloon wing you can really see the quality work that went into that one.

The tip of the lapel bullion wing and prop AAC/AAF insignia is also a real tease.

Visor section or not I'm glad to see it.
I would love to see the whole uniform???????

Probably the largest gathering of bullion-insignia visors west of the Mississippi:
