    The red and white colours in the cockade, and the 'Wein'
    label say Austrian to me too.........

    At least I know it is from Austria now ( - ; It has a date of 1902 but it doesn´t look that old to me

    No; 1902 is the year when the company that manufactured the cap was founded: "gegr. [= gegründet] 1902 means "est. 1902".

    The cap is definitely from post-WW2 Austria.

    It says "Gegr. 1902", which is saying the company that made it has been in business since 1902, like "Est. 1902". It stands for "Gegründet".
