What is this need help to ID

Is is Navy, or perhaps Marine, it came with a Marine globe and Anchor pin, however I was told it probably didn't go with it.

The strap buttons are simply a US seal... like the one below.

hi, i couldn't quite tell if the cap is a gray or light blue, but it might be a west point cadet's cap.

Yes it is blue, It is quite intriguing, it does look like a west point visor, however it has a gold band, and I think their button's are different.

to be honest i think what has happened is that someone replaced the proper band with the later officers gold band.

The blue/grey colour and the black piping do
look like West Point.........

I believe this could be for any type of army college, correct I thought they all used the same style piping system. I also thought they would have place West Point Buttons on the hat if it were for indeed west point
