circa ww2, these are hard to date precisely.

Value is not certain, condition, how many want one at the time its for sale etc....

circa £75-150.

This looks like a nice cap. Here is mine for comparison, also by Gieves. As far as dating is concerned it is worth noting that the length of the peak of officers caps was changed in 1946. Before 1946 it was 2 inches and after 1946 it was 2 1/4 inches. The concentric circles on the cap lining usually seem to indicate pre WW2 manufacture- I suspect your cap will have the shorter peak and date to the 20's or 30's.
