Article about: I would appreciate any help identifying this cap, and if it is WWII period or post-war. The RAF badge indicates British but the maker's stamp inside the cap suggests Canadian. Are the badge

Looks like it has a DSA type number there, and a month - July, do you have it in hand? could well be a put together?

Just got back to the forum. I think that you are right, it does look like July. The number is hard to make out completely. It looks like 8405-2.....0..0954. Are you familiar with "PARKTOWN HAT"?

Yes with the earlier "King's crown" badge and buttons, a nobbled together example, trying to be WW2 era.
