    Default 101st Airborne Patch

Hey guys, I found this patch at a local antique shop, I have not purchased it yet, the list price on it is $140 i have tried reviewing and studying this patch as I know there's alot of info on here about them already. Hoping that the experts may be able to add a comment to lend me a hand if it is original or not, and possibly the age. The lady at the store of course told me its WWII but i cant trust her comments. Thanks in advance

I don't think it's WW2 for some reason and way overpriced! I thought most Airborne tabs were not attached to the eagle. I could be wrong though... There is no snowback either, but that doesn't mean it's not original. I still don't get a good feeling!

I agree with Eric, based on my limited experience! I do however have a a boat load of legit US patches and that is why I got a bad feeling.

Hello ww2 101st had the tabs attached, but this is not one, A nice 101st would go for about 75, I believe that this is a 1950s era one

Usually, WWII types have a tan base material. Original manufacturers
made these until the Vietnam War ( 1968 ). This one is known as
    a post-war 'scribble eye'.........
