    Gidday there

Nice shirt not to sure about the duck , that was for WWII era and worn for a short time there after.

Note the SFC rank was worn 1951-1955 era.

Below are 2 unofficial Insignia for the 127th AEB , same period as the shirt.

The rank of SFC was established in 48 and is still a rank in the us army now.

Or did you mean the style of rank? They look blue but are not the color of the korean war rank from what the seller stated.

    Sorry will clarify

The construction of SFC was worn 1951-1955. Olive drab on blue cotton twill.

This replaced the unpopular 2 inch wide Golden lite series (gold on blue non combat specialist , Blue on Gold combat) 1948-1951.

You will find during the Korean war to mid 50's several different construction types were worn. WWII era , Golden light series and the OD version on blue twill.

Note the SSI is on left arm meaning the then current service.

As a side note during this period 1948-55 buck Sgt had a rocker .

Do you think this is an occupation piece?

    No

Japanese occupation period-late 40's, you would find that there would be theatre made pieces either oval or SSI on the shirt , also they were a better quality.

I would put it Germany mid 1950's when 11th Abn was stationed at this stage , unless the seller could provide provenance.

    Below are 1951-55 SFC stripes.

Here is a 1948-51 period Khaki shirt note the golden light rank of Sgt.

This was the unpopular style of rank and was surpassed by the OD on Blue twill 1951-55.
