I'm 3:30-11:30, but I like to unwind a bit before bed, plus, I have never
been one who could jump in and fall asleep immediately.........!

I hear you Steve its tough to go to sleep on a nice sunny day
Indeed, Gary, it's also hard to get up early Saturday morning
for a Militaria Show too.........!
Regards,
Steve.
I have Fridays and Saturdays off. So I have a strong drive to get to the shows early. I'm like a little kid on Christmas eve when a show is coming.

a little grouping I put together. The wings are British made and the 82nd patch is a snow back.
I like the captain rank. I've been looking for some like that to match some 2 LT bars I have. Nice finds.
Burt
WWII British theater wings ( AAF, Abn ) are somewhat rare.........!

Steve.
Hi Burt this was the first time I have seen a captain bar like this . Do you know when they used them . Steve I got the wings about ten years ago and was walking threw a gun show and showed one guy the wings .next thing I know I have three guys trying to buy the wings from me. The funny thing is the first guy I showed them to did the old well they are British made no body wants British made wings let me tell you what I will do I don't need them but I'll buy the wings from you so you don't get stuck. I also polished the wings my thought is they deserve to shine and I'm not going to sell them. Gary
Lol - He wanted them real bad ! -
( British insignia and wings are very rarely made of sterling silver,
and are always marked as such if they are. )
Gary, are there any markings on the Captains bars ? Other than
the 'coffin lid' style, they may be WWI. These are supposed
to resemble bullion.
Regards,
Steve.
Steve the wings are marked sterling with a brass pin. No marks on the captions bar.
