Default Air Assault Museum - Duxford

I finally got to view the Air Assault Museum at Duxford last weekend, and after various descriptions given of the contents and displays, I feel I must give it the thumbs up !.

One has to remember that the museum covers the whole of the history of the British Airborne forces, and thus it is not fully concentrated on the WW2 aspect.

Anyhow, a few shots of the WW2 items ....

Hi Gary, thanks for the pics. I have still not seen it in real life myself yet....

I see an Airborne stretcher in pic 4. Thinking of parting with mine.

    Cheers, Ade.

    Well spotted Ade ...
The stretcher has the rather "basic" wheels attached, .. which is not too clear in the photo ..
