    Default British Para pics

    Hello,
An elderly friend and neighbour has given me some pictures of his activity during WW2. I've copied, enlarged them for him, and returned his originals and the enlargements . He has told me much about his experiences as a Para and still turns out smartly dressed with his Para tie, blazer, and Beret when necessary. He attends a re-union every year, but as he says "There are less of us each time we go".

I will try and send some of his pictures as I'm sure some members may be interested?

    Cheers,
    navyman.

    Thank you Ade,
I've tried sending these pic's one at a time, in groups, and as one file, but failed.
I will try and send you the file with them enclosed, but if that doesn't work can I e mail them to you as an attachment?
    Very best,
    Guy.

    Sorry Ade,
Tried to upload file to this message but again nothing happened.
    What can I do next?

    Hello Paul,
I have had to send a cd of the pictures by snail mail to Ade as my machine refuses to send them, I hate windows vista!
I will see the gentleman again soon and ask him for some more information which I will pass on to the forum.
    Cheers,
    navyman.

Hi Guy, I have resized the pics and added some to your original posts. They were HUGE, that was your problem.

Please ask Pete if he fought with 2nd Indep. Parachute Brigade in the South of France? Also has he been to any reunions there? I am certain I know his face.

    Cheers, Ade.

Hi Phillip, the pics are indeed taken in Greece.

But the brigade fought in France earlier in the year.

    Cheers, Ade.
