Here's his entry in the AIR78 files at Kew, just to confirm his first names. Should you ever wish (this goes for his son too) to read his repatriation form (filled in when he was repatriated to the UK), it will be found in the WO344 series of files at the National Archives, Kew. It will, usually, give information on where and when he was captured, if he was interrogated, where he was held etc etc.

    Cheers, Tom

These wartime cards are Highly sought after by collectors and are worth several hundreds of dollars...as much or more than the Caterpillar Pins and patches. If I were Sgt Crouch, I think I'd like my card back...

I know how much it is worth but it would be a honour for me to give it back to the owner!

Caterpillar Card - SGT. J.W. CrouchRoy Crouch, I am just posting picture of the man himself, Flt Sgt JW Crouch, when my brother and I him took to RAF Elvington Museum (three miles from RAF Pocklington where he was based with 102 Squadron) to see the only rebuilt Halifax bomber in UK.

I think it would be a superb class act to return the card to Sgt Crouch!

    Hiya, Roy.

Joe here. I was wondering, who has this Caterpillar Club Card, and does Jim want it back?
