    A footnote .... the badges can be seen on the front of Brian L. Davis's "British Army uniforms and Insignia of World War two" in a period colour photo of an Airborne soldier.

    Some nice finds there Gary, and totally agree with you on Brian L Davis book, a dealer friend gave me a copy of this and its one of the best general recourses on British equipment, the webbing section which is of most interest to me has some very useful information.

    What did the Polish wear at Arnhem? Do you have the eagle? Did they were the Pegasus badge as well?

    If you check out the "Polish" section" of the forum under Polish Armed forces in the West, ... there is some good posts showing the Polish Parachute Eagles !
