My first post!
Hello. This is my first post, so I thought I would start with quite a good one.This Jacket used to belong to Air Vice Marshall William Ernest Staton. He was friends with my grandfather and lived a few doors down from him in Gurnard on the Isle of Wight. He gave the jacket to my grandfather, who in turn gave it to my father, and it has ended up with me. It has definitely seen better days, as you can see from the pics. But I am still pleased to have it in my collection.Hope you like it.

A friend of mine has written a book about his father, who was WE Staton 's gunner. He is anxious to make contact with a Staton relative to pass on a copy of the book to the family.
