How long did he give you for a turn around time.
He didn't say. I imagine that every job is different, so until he has it on the bench and taken down and can tell for certain just what all it needs, there isn't any point in making time estimates. I'm not worried, though-he's pretty thorough but good speed.

I'm in no rush to have my knife restored . I'm still on the fence if I should or not. William Thanks for your thoughts it gives me a little more to think about . Gary
Just wondering if you restored the knife or not?
I have seen these ( in VG condition) sell for as much as $250 at military shows.
In Wisconsin, they are illegal to own. They will be taken, and the own fined and
possibly arrested. -- I saw a seller at a flea market hauled off to jail because he
had a switchblade for sell on his table. In Minnesota, you can own them as a
collectable but you can not carry them.
It is a federal crime to carry them across state lines or to send them through the mail.

I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
myself around.
No worries I think I'm going to keep it as is . In NY you can have one if you are trapping or law enforcement
