    I agree with Smitty.

    It looks like a fairly modern era civilian commercial made wing.

    I don't think the 1st Bde 82nd had a waterborne element which the trident represents, and it is not associated with any elements that were with the WWII Allied Airborne Army SSI.

    Gary,

    I was just looking up a unit crest and came across the posted insignia in the ASMIC infantry DI Catalog part 2, page 9.

    Garry (Mossie) did confirm initially that this insignia is for 1st Brigade 82nd Airborne Division..

    Just wanted to update you with a positive identification.
