I shall miss my neighbour and friend Pete. I had the pleasure of copying and enlarging his wartime photo's, will also miss chatting over a drink in the local.
Pete was a fine gentleman and always dressed imaculately in his maroon blazer and airborn regiment tie.
    Cheers Pete,
    Guy.

Hello Guy , I was hoping that after our conversation you would post, albeit on a sad note, but it seems that Peter had a vast number of friends therefore he will not be forgotten, welcome back

    Hi Guy, welcome back.

Here are a few photos which I took on the occassion of the 60th Anniversary of the Invasion of the South of France when Peter was awarded his Legion of Honour Medal.

The daytime photos are at the reception for the Vets. Peter is in the middle in shirt sleeve order.

The evening ones were taken at our hotel where we got into trouble for all the booze empties next day! We bought wine by the gallon. We sat talking with the Vets for many hours. My wife Lez is shown with Peter.

    Cheers, Ade.
