    Yes civvie street & working in the Middle East for all my sins lol.....So I'm 4 hours in front now of good old Blighty..So it's bed time now as I'm scuba diving tomorrow need to be up early..Cheers Alan have a nice evening..Terry.

    Your wing was issued approx 1980 - 1990's.

    I figured they were new issue , while kinda new . I got them in the 80's . And didn't think they were good at the time , but I'm glad they turned out good . Thanks for the information .

    According to the man in the know on the Brit badge forum they are the type issued from the early 70's onward, perhaps even late 60's, but 70's issue is typical for this type though I am not sure when they go out of use, as the more modern version is very similar, but continuation into the 80's and perhaps 90's is likely.

    They appear to be the same as this pair from my collection.

    I have a beret badge in the post to me to join them, same period 70's-80's ish version. I'll add my own pics when it arrives.
