SAS wings

    Stylistically these are WWII wings Mark and they look good, but I could not claim to be knowledgeable enough to say they were 100% good, but they look it to me.

    Hi Jerry many years ago I purchased a shoe box full of other WW II and early post war British Para and Canadian 1 Can Para items they were part of the lot.

    As I posted Mark, they look correct for WWII wings and it sounds like you have the history with them to confirm they are good.

    In an act of unbelievable generosity Mark gifted these wings along with a few other items to me. Words fail me to express my gratitude for this gift.

    As an aside the wings are the 1944 pattern but are probably of early 1950's manufacture. In terms of SAS wings, that does not make them less desirable, infact it probably makes them a less common version.

    They are from some time after the 1960's, probably 1980's/90's.

    I've acquired another SAS wing.

    Any ideas on date/ value/ excitement value?

    They don't glow under UV.
