ww2 parachute regiment badge ?

What are your opinions on the authenticity of this badge...real or not?

Cast fake IMHO. The way the shroud lines run down on the left hand side as you look at it is not seen on period originals, they should meet nearer the base, so not even been cast from an original.

Ok thanks...good eyes! There are so many points to note on these. The hunt for an original goes on!

Originals are quite often seen for sale and are not that expensive, circa £30 +- a few quid.
