Nice. Unusual one in a way. Would be nice to know if it had the '46 pattern collar or the '47 pattern collar originally. Although the label does says 1946 pattern, the 1948 production date would indicate it was in fact a 1947 pattern blouse. The code letter stamp "R" corresponds to 1948 too.
Sadly the tailoring obscures the original form of the collar, but as the label says 46 pattern, it probably had that form of collar, but as these things can sometimes be miss labeled that can not be known with 100% certainty. On another thread a member posted that they had 46, 47 and 49 pattern BD's all with a 49 date.

Whatever its just an opinion.
Decided to restore the missing cloth titles, tank arm badge and collar dogs. Went with RTR dogs but I have one RAC example in hand and another in the post, so I might swap them when the other one arrives.

Looks ace!Well done.
Thanks mate. I have to admit I was pleased with my handiwork and thinks it looks even better than it did before. It seemed a bit naked without them and as they had obviously been removed at some stage, it only seemed right to restore the missing insignia.
