    Hello folks,

Here is one of my favorites. From the 384th Phil..

This gentleman wrote a short book following the war but also did several recorded interviews that can be seen on Youtube. The book goes into more detail but the videos are very interesting as well. At one point he talks about moving (walking) from one POW camp to another in freezing temperatures. He said that it was so cold and hard that the prisoners were carrying the guards guns and packs at times. This was toward the end of the war when the young guards had been moved to fighting areas and replaced with "old timers".

The movie "The Great Escape"..he was there.

I do not own some of these items (dog tags) but was able to obtain pictures of them from the internet. I have the uniforms and paperwork.

These videos are very interesting..amazing history really.

"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

Now that is an outstanding Grouping. I'll have to wait to get home from work to watch those as my Guberment computer will not allow me to watch Youtube.

I looked him up on the 384th site and found his story.
