8th air corps Ike jacket

Article about: I’m officially addicted to collecting Ike jackets, as I just cant seem to stop buying them. This example arrived in the mail today, and I thought I would share it with you guys. This jacket

    Here is a chronological history of the US Air Force Chevron system from 1947 forward. The initial chevrons after the US Air Force became a separate branch of the Armed Forces still had the "Army Look" hence the updated chevrons to show their separation into becoming their own branch..
