    Nice set Rene
    Well done mate.
I will keep an eye open for a pair of boots and a bush hat for you cobber.

We were still wearing this kit in the mid 80's during my time in the Reserve. Not good gear for Tassie winters at all.

    All the best Rene

Yakka, i still wear their gear at work, they make the best pants by far.
this set would look great with the full kit on display

I had those pattern trousers in school cadets in the late 70s-I was a large size-they were older than the 2 map pocket types issued as current then-as far as cold weather goes, the south west of WA gets damned cold as well at night in winter-some blokes in the Res would wear old BD trousers or 'long johns' under the standard trousers but of course you couldn't take them off if things got warmer during the day...

Rene some very nice kit you have there. The combats "uniform" doesn't look very light weight for the jungle..I could see a lot of soldiers sweating their nuts off wearing this stuff!! Is it lightweight or is it just the photos?.. Excellent ever way thanks for taking the snaps. Cheers Terry.
