Thanks for adding the pics to the site.
Not something I recognise and the markings do not really make sense. If 39 is the date then it should be below the /I\ mark not above. The P if WWII would be for 1941 so agin it does not make sense. WWI marks had the letter below and the P is for Pimilco depot but that would mean the 39 is either for 1839 or is an inspectors stamp.
Either way, this is a mystery to me but perhaps someone else will be able to unravel what this all means.
