    I'm in France at the moment, and I saw this in a military surplus store, looked it over, even asked the owner if it was an original or reproduction(He said it was an original), and decided to buy it.
    Give me your verdict. In my opinion, it is a good original, but I would really like to make sure:

    Original 40 pattern austerity version. Price is pretty good as well for one of these IMO.

    A great find and it looks to be in great condition to often I see great BD that hasn't been looked after properly and sometimes it's a real shame.
