    Default Dutch Military Button ID?

    Hi Folks,

I found this Dutch military button today:

Can someone help with (approximately) dating this?
Also, what would be the best way of cleaning this? It looks like brass to me.

    Thanks in advance!

These buttons were used by the Dutch between the two wars and had a brons finition. They didn't need to be polished then and I wouldn't do it now neither!

Hey Karmold, I will give my answer here, inbox is very confined!
These buttons were used since 1922 until WWII.
Like I said before, I would not touch (clean) it!
The brons layer might come of, leaving you a bright cupper button, and that was not ment to be so.
They were used by different land army components, navy and air force were different.
