So a possible hit on information. The seller of this has a bunch of related stuff to this including snowflake pin backed command pilot wings, various crushers and a painted A2 to a bomber named "sitting pretty" it has a 15th airforce patch on it as well.

Does the jacket have a painting of the bomber on it? The 15th AF had B17's and B24's and that would narrow down the search for this guy...
Have you gotten the shirt yet? Just curious if that name you think it is, is the correct one to search for?

I spoke with the seller. The A2 is a repro and not tied with the other items i saw. They wanted over $1100 for it......Here are the wings priced at $225.
Shirt came in left sleeve may have had a patch as there is a faint patch shadow and a few needle holes. Almost shield shaped. Maybe 4th or 9th from what i can see.
Upon further inspection the patch outline is a diamond. I placed a far east air forces patch over it and it lined up. Guessing it was removed upon unit transfer or by the owner for some other reason.
So the name looks like "Cheatle"
is that what you are seeing??
