Yes what happened to the button??
When I click on that link you are providing I get this message.

Like mentioned above I would just look to replace the buttons.

Found some on ebay.
$30 starting bid. Ends in 4 days.

There are several under this search. "WW2 us army buttons" if you don't need 24 of them!!

I'm not a button guy, so maybe someone can chime in and say if these are the ones you need. They are listed as WW2.
