HMX-1 Flight jacket circa 1958

Gents,

Was a an auction recently and was able to acquire this jacket. I actually stopped bidding on it and another collecter won it. However it was bothering me having let it go since I was with the unit myself and figured I'd have a hard time finding another one that went that far back to the start of the Presidential lift. Anyway the other collector sold it to me after the auction and for that I am most appreciative. Tracked the original Marine down and shot the breeze for a couple hours. That's what it is all about.
