I need assistance with this Uniform, American?

I received this from a friend, for free. She has little info about her father's items, and I am not a uniform person. She has more pictures, bayonets, and documents coming, so I might need help with those as well. What I need help with is the age of this uniform, and what the ribbons were given to him for. The ribbon on the pocket looks like a South Korean flag. So, was this a Korean War uniform? I know this is a WW2 forum, but I am sure someone might know something about it. If you need other pictures, just ask, and I'll respond as soon as possible. Thank you.

Yes it is a Korean Khaki shirt. M-1950. Not Familiar with the patch tho.

The brass buttons on collar look WWII but need better pic.

Collar disks not clear.

Corporal rank.

SSI is Korean Military Assistance Group formed 1948 and active through war. Under US regs. could be worn post-Korea by veterans of the unit.

US Medals are Army Good Conduct, Korean Service Medal with combat star, and UN Service Medal.

On pocket flap: ROK Presidential Unit Citation.

Okay. That was fast.

US Signal Corps.

KMAG foccus was training and logistics.

As an aside, during the fun stage of the Korean War, the ROK was training infantry conscripts in ONE WEEK. After that it was on-the-job training in combat.

Yep looks WWII.
Here a tip i was given when i first started.

If there flat then they are WWII, If bowed (roundish). post war (korean War).

Little round clip that hold them in with out bumps (WWII) (on the left), with (postWar) (on the right)

look at pictures for more info on what i mean
