Hi is there a label inside the pocket ? , most have with the makers details and date it was made
Looks like a WWII "Ike" jacket to me, collar brass is WWII. Also looks like he may have had a combat infantry badge above his ribbons.
I can not find the label production
Uniforms can be post-war?
The should be a pocket inside usually on the left inside. The deep brown interior makes me almost sure it is ww2. The uniform is for the 1st Infantry Division big red one it is quite desirable
It's had a ruptured duck above the the wearers right side pocket (discharge patch) also, it'd be great to see better shots of all of the insignia?
Late 44-45 mfg most likely.
Jacket looks WWII but the patch looks like it was put on very sloppily could be to dress it up better photos needed

Could be all depends on the date, the patch could have been applied in the field
