I'll start this thread off with a few ww2 submarine cpo's.

Here's a grouping to a Chief Electrian's mate. He got discharge in Feb, 1946. He work at the Philly Naval Yard from 1941-1943 as a electrian. He enlisted in 1943 and was a Electriam mate 1st class, and was assign with the seabee's. I know he became chief before the end of the war and these six button uniform were around late war. Everyone thinks they are 1947-1949 regulations only.
I have other documents and his chin strap, along with his blue cover and rain cover.
