Sorry my dad said i cant post pictures of the dog tag. But here are pictures of the eto jacket. There is some mothing but not that bad. There is one big whole in the back but is hardly noticable.

Wow your shirt has the tag lovely - none of mine are legible! Double plus as it looks like the shirt had a gas flap

ok it looks like the shirt has buttons on the inside there yes? on the opposite side there should be an extra flap or stitching remnants on the inner front to show if it had one or not? the gas flap where commonly taken off

I just read this thread. You or your Father may be able to get replacement medals/awards as well as a copy of your Uncles service records from the
National Personnel Records Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Here's the web site link and a link to request replacement medals:

I requested copies of my Father's records years ago and found out that some were damaged or destroyed in a fire at the center.

not really I havn't been on the market for US gear, my more recent stuff comes from an old mate
