New Uniforms inc WAAF

Hey everyone,

I bought some uniforms a few days ago and they've just been delivered. I managed to pick all 3 of these up for £80 so i am really happy!

Included was a WAAF jacket and Skirt, ARP jacket and post war Civil defence jacket, trousers and skirt.

Will upload more pictures of each uniforms individually.

WAAF Uniform.

Inside both the Jacket and the skirt is the name: M.Walton and the number 1/43 followed by 477233. Both items are dated 1942. Im wondering if the 1/43 means she joined in January 1943, do you think 477233 could be her number?

Next is the ARP Ladies B/D Jacket. Unfortunately no trousers with this one, but a lovely jacket.

last but not least is the Post War Civil Defence Uniform. Skirt and Jacket are 1952 dated and the trousers are 1961 dated. The blouse has nice CD buttons with kings crown. I don't think i'm going to be keeping this one and i thought someone who does re-enacting would get more use out of it.

477233 will be her serial number. I think you are right on the date.

Thank you phil, i just need to find a mannequin small enough for the WAAF uniform, it is tiny!
