Real m43 Field Jacket?

Hi I recently bought this and it just showed up today. It is named to a John Adkin Walter III and it came with alot of research about him. in WW2 he was in the 99th infantry division and i think battle of the bulge based on the date on the 2 documents i photographed and he became a tank commander in the 13th armored. after the war he went to west point and became an officer then went to the air force where in korea he earned a distinguished flying cross. I was wondering what was with the sew on CIB as I havent seen one before like that before thanks!

The CIBs are quite common, probably german made very nice group

Good original item and with a great history to an interesting soldier.

A great M43,the combat infantrymans badge is fine and original to the tunic.I really love this one as you have so much history to go with it and what a history it is too!!! TOP TOP find!
