Royal Artillery 1939 battledress named

Hi

Picked this up a few days ago, named to a Lt C H Beer RA, has his offical number written on label. 2 small moth holes on back otherwise perfect condition.All i have found out so far is that he was in the northern command and he was made up to Temp Captain in 1942. Would love to find out more about his service etc. Would this have had cloth epaulettes or metal rank insignia? I cant see any marks in the cloth.
If anyone could estimate what this would be worth to sell ( I collect WW1) i would appreciate it

The rank pips should be cloth.

How Strange, my wife's Grand Father was Lt C H Beer, but he was in the Pay Corps. Nice Blouse.

His daughter remembers his last 3 digits as 277

Oh okay , just thinking it maybe the same guy, he could have been injured out of RA and put into pay corps , do you have access to his service docs?
