Looks like a nice set of British Officers uniform to me. The battledress jacket appears to have been tailored at the collar for an officer, which is not uncommon. It looks very green, perhaps its of colonial manufacture? Id like to see the markings in this jacket. Presumably he spent the war in Britain as he has just The Defence medal. Perhaps its surprising to see a senior officers uniform (Lt. Colonel) with just this one ribbon, but I expect its possible. These items are unlikely to be outright fakes- its always possible that they might have been altered (for example new insignia) but they are most probably all OK.

Did you buy the whole lot, as it also included caps and more tunics and other items including framed photographs as well?

    Hi Ade

The kit belonged to a LT COL C.M. WALKER FROM CIRENCESTER. The majority of the kit is named to him.
