Article about: Hi Guys Seen these pair of Tankers overalls for sale, claimed to be WW2 although no markings are apparently faded, is it the real deal? thanks ian

    they are ww2 british pattern but they were still being made into the 50's.....the date label should be on a tag just inside of one of the cuffs if i remember correctly.... i dont think there were any differences between the war time and post war made suits

    No idea as to authenticity but it did remind me of this excellent photograph from 1945. The caption reads "Two young German soldiers caught attempting to ambush British tanks. Note the bazookas on their bicycles".

    They are real, but as Lee says, the could be 50's.

    i to have one of these suits but with slightly diffrent pockets mines got a built in pistol pocket on the left breast the label in mine is on the inside back and reads KL SEYNTEX 96X100 TC 31.6078.11? any ideas on date? cheers Jim

    ps looking at my suit all the pockets are zip up so its posably post war

    It will be a post war Dutch version of the suit. The KL on the label is the give away here.

    Hi,
    I'm pretty sure if it has brass poppers, which yours seems to have, it should be WW2. Just like the Dennison smock, if it has nickel poppers then it is 1946 & after. That's the rule that I go by, & I have'nt seen anything to change my mind.
