Hi Steve, Its a very nice private purchase summer tunic. The insignia looks like this. I have a spare set of winged propellers I can send you if you'd like to remind me of your address. You shouldnt have much trouble getting the 'US' devices on ebay.

Does anyone know if the U S tabs are gold plated set on sterling? i may have found some a long with a set of pilot wings.

Nice 4 pocket tunic. Looks like he was an aviation cadet. It appears to be missing the belt. It also appears that enlisted rank and honorable discharge insignia were put on an officer's uniform coat.. Not common but I have seen things like this before..

Yes, it's a cadets jacket which is similar in style to the officer's jacket but did not have a belt or cuff braids. There's actually no belt loops on it for a belt.

I had a struggle to find trousers for my 3rd div example so I found a 48 patt pair really hard to find!
