Uniform identification, UGECO brown jacket
Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me with this. I have found what appears to be a uniform jacket, stamped 'UGECO Nantes'. It's a brown colour and wool. French manufacture, but I can't tally it with any WWI or WWII uniforms I can see. Looks like part of a woman's uniform. Will try to attach a photo. Not great quality - if it works I may add one taken in daylight tomorrow.

To my mind, a French uniform from the fifties.
Cheers,
Emile
Nantes is a city in France.

Not a woman's uniform. Notice how it is buttoned: left over right, i.e. in the "male" way.

Hello Greenstar,
This jacket is in french a "Blouson modèle 1946 en drap kaki foncé" (Khaki Dark Wool 1946 Pattern Jacket). It was used in walking-out dress by all the french troops (OR and NCO but sometimes officers) until the beginning of the 60's. It's not a female uniform. Regards, Jordan
