    Hello
I found this wonderful Uniform on ebay for very little money and I have no idea from which part it was used
It is made from grey, Woolish cloth and have WW2 buttons
It have a label but this is nearly unrealable
The only I can read is 1943 and US-Army
It seems like a WH uniform from the style
On the right side were some patches but they were removed
    What do the experts say?
I am thankful for all ideas and Comments
    Best regards
    Bavarian

My eyes may be deceiving me but this looks to be a German made post WW2 occupation piece..

Many German firms were placed back into employment and were contracted to make clothing and insignia for the occupation forces.. this may be one of them.

The makers tag has some information on it referencing an APO for the US Army, indicating an overseas manufacture..

I am also seeing something on the makers tag FABRIK...

I will have to look through my Army Clothing catalog books to see if there is a similar tag..

    Spot on there Smitty.

Top line reads, ‘Shirts, Wool Flannel...’
Pattern date, 6th September 1931. (Cannot decipher the date of manufacture).
    I think manufactured at Schwaben.

Struggling with the rest of it.

I have enhanced it a little but if you could provide a slightly clearer photograph it may help.

Note the incorrect spelling of Flannel (flanell)

I think it may be a delivery date of 1951. The stock number seems to be 55-S-4043-888? which does not appear as a ww2 stock number. The 55-S would be correct for a shirt.

I cant quite make out enough possibly schefabrik & Baer Burgau Schwaben

APO 757 is the code for Frankfurt Germany.
