Default US 8th AF / AAF Badged M44 'Ike' Jacket

A recent addition is my Jacket, Field, Wool, OD which is nicely badged with English-made 8th Air Force patch, Communication Specialist patch, Overseas Service stripes and machine-embroidered on twill Army Air Force patch.

This aircrew Sergeant, with 18 months overseas service, probably rotated home after his tour in England for assignment to a Stateside Air Force position.

    Thanks for looking.

Excellent looking uniform.. are there any markings on the wings? They look like Juarez pattern..

The wings on the jacket above are likely only marked
'Sterling', and look to be a typical Graduation type.
If anything, the design would be attributed
    to Bell Trading.........

Just a guess but the stitching on the patches looks like the type commonly done in Italy, very distinct. Not sure if it was also done in England.

That is a fantastic looking Ike jacket!!!

Are there any laundry numbers stamped anywhere on the jacket?

    I love 8th AF stuff!
    Congrats on that pick up
