Cool US Belt - pre or post ww2 ?

    Hi Gentlemen!
Today i got pictures from this US webbing belt, as an offer especially to me from anoteher german collector -also an 'Americanist' .
Ok, I can see some typical US ww2-belt materials, but the webbing seems to reflect the light and ther were stamped two red stripes.
Is this a special variation for parade uniform or similar use? Is it a real ww2 madel or post war? Who can help me?

Wish you a good ride into 2015, best regards and thanks - Uwe from Hannover

    Guten Abend, Nuge

It is a US LC-1 belt from the 1970s. It was introduced during the early 1970s. It was widely used in West Germany where the German cold in the winter made the material brittle!

Uwe, this is my LC-1 belt which my father gave me. He was Armored Cavalry in Bavaria.

I tank you very much Alex !
Now I can give the right answer to the offering collector - he had titled this belt as an early ww2 belt ! Ok, perhaps he didn't know this too...

Best regards to the Northeast of Scotland!
