The USS Shenandoah came in just in time to miss the war, but went on to serve a long and honorable career. I particularly like the Liberty embellishments on this jumper. My own father's uniform also sports a pair of cuff dragons that are very similar. They were abit more "stiff" on the uniform regs back in those days, but sailors being sailors, many went ahead and did what they wanted to regardless and took the risks! A great example of a barely post-war Navy jumper from a fine ship.
