There was one pair that I have seen before that had all of the features removed and did not have the the M51 tag added over the stamped instructions

Figured to gauge the size of this humongous pair -- ! in comparison to a 69 Aust trouser

A quote from Wikipedia on M43 trousers, "Paratroopers were issued complete M-1943 uniforms, and infantry units began getting the uniform parts here and there.

Paratroopers were generally the only ones to modify the uniform, mainly because they would add their own trouser cargo pockets sometimes and would keep their older paratrooper boots instead of the new buckle boots."

If some one that could wear that size pants had to haul a$$ it would take him 2 trips.
