vietnam american uniform???

Just an standard BDU uniform, I hate to tell you, some one made this up, that does not know their military stuff.

The COSCOM patch ( LEANING SHIT HOUSE ) as we called it , should be pointing to the 11:00 position.

Before i got deployed to Iraq on my last tour, i was with the 1st. Coscom ( airborne ) out of Ft. Bragg, and that patch was put on WRONG.

Ok, i stand corrected, i was looking at the pic again, and i see that he has the pic flipped/reversed.

So, it is correct.

Thanks Brian. I have edited the pic in the original post and put it to the correct way around. I would not have known until you said. I had earlier flipped the other photo which showed the name tag etc as this was back to front too for some unknown reason?

That would be his combat patch, and his uniform from Desert Storm, i would say.

If it was OIF - OEF, they would be ACU's, not BDU's.

I would say no, all he had on his uniform was a set of jump wings, and an air assault badge.

Probably just an ordinary run of the mill Captain, no Ranger tab, no SF tab, and no CIB badge.

He seems like a typical paper pusher, office clerk from his BDU jacket.

Nothing special about the unit patches on the jacket either.

Nothing high speed about it at all.

Most officers go through jump school, and air assault school for promotion points to higher ranks, and that's it.
