war aid british battledress blouse

Article about: Picked this up on Saturday at a local vintage clothes fair. I think it is a USA made war aid BD blouse, it has royal signals cloth titles and a metal armourer trade badge, seems in good cond

    Not at all!! The Home Guard honoured qualifications earned before a man joined. If the person was a qualified tradesman they used his skills, things where tight enough. use the resources you have.
    My Grandfather served in the RFC in WW1 and wore his RFC wings on his Home Guard uniform.
