A 1939 dated kullah (turban cone). This is unissued and quite a small size. Unfortunately the turbans (Pagri) themselves would appear to be very rare.
I have also included the variety of ways in which they could be worn

You have a nice collection of bits and pieces from the soldiers in the jungle . I have a similar looking mannequin with my 44 Pattern equipment (missing trousers and hat though) and various items I have picked up, I will have to start a similar thread as I don't want to spoil yours.

Unissued Indian made 1944 dated Jungle shorts. The shorts have buttons dated from 1934 to 1937. Shorts were not often worn in the front line in the jungle due to leaches and all other sorts of creepy crawlies, however, they can be seen being worn by artillery men and soldiers at rest.

Our man here is wearing his black ammo boots as he is yet to be issued jungle boots

Our man has been captured by the Japanese. His uniform has fallen apart over time and all he is left with is his slouch hat and a loincloth
