I like used, but perhaps a bit too "dog eared" for my tastes. Unless of course I knew exactly who wore it and where.
Cheers, Ade.

The breast pockets are for a flotation bladder
ohh I saw a repro today with 4 buttons and it passed the blacklight test
Rene,I have friends that were in the 'Corp during 'Nam. They were looking for the H.B.T.'s so they would look like old salts. Your statement about the repro shirt is not good.

Knowledge is power, guard it well.
A few of the more recent WWII movies, made here in the states, created a big market for "Movie Props". I've seen several H.B.T. jackets at local shows that are aged and made to look the part. I'm sure a mess of these are floating around being passed off as authentic. Just a heads up.
Sorry it took so long to get back to you buddy.
The 3 pocket is WWII. 2 pocket are post war. You will find 3 pockets that have a pocket removed but usually you can tell by the color difference. Field modifications were common. Hope this helps you friend. I would dig a 3 pocket out but I'll be damned if I can remember where I have put them.
looks kinda like a combat uniform. the color doesnt look exactly ww2.
not sure though.
